Please help me figure out this homework question:

"At 800 degrees C, the equilibrium constant for the reaction CO2 + H2 <--> CO + H20 is .279. At a different temperature the equilibrium constant is 0.100. Is this different temperature higher or lower than 800 degrees? Give your reasoning."

Thank you!

ok quick question

fission creates a large amount of energy
and fussion is the opposite of fission and it takes a sizable amount of energy to start it

is it possible to make a generator that uses fission to create energy and then use a small percentage of that energy to create fusion to reconstrust the matter back into a fissionable material

considering that fusion uses hydrogen/helium
and fission uses plutonium/uranium i doubt it but its a good concept !!

another question of mine is has anyone ever invented a small nuclear generator ???

For eg: ethanoic acid, CH3COOH (a weak acid) is usually paired with CH3COONa (sodium ethanoate/acetate). What is the significance of this pairing? I know the purpose of CH3COONa is to produce CH3COO- ions which will react and hence remove H+ when a little acid is added. I also know when a little base is added, the OH- ions will be removed by CH3COOH. But can I replace CH3COONa with, say, CH3CH2COONa (sodium propanoate)?

If you leave a glass of water beside your bed overnight, in the morning there are small bubbles in it, stuck to the sides of the glass.

Why is this?

Is it the breath of some sinister underwater creatures?

Is it something dull and chemical?

I know oil floats on water. But when you spray water on an oil fire, the water has to sink, meaning it goes 'through' the burning oil, which means it has to cool the oil below kindling point and/or temporarily choke off oxygen. So why doesn't water work?
