Hydroxyapatite is amember of apatite group which are the most abundant phosphorus bearing minerals, the commonest varities are represented by the isomorphous series with end members:
fluor-apatite
chlorapatite
hydroxyapatite
carbonate apatite
so,the hydroxyapatite cannot change to bromoaptite .
