Has anyone here done an experiment where you add MgO to HCl in a calorimeter or coffee cup calorimeter? If you have, did you have to record the temperature every 30 seconds or minute? If you did, do you know how much the temperature should go down every minute? Because I did it and it only went down like 0.1 seconds every minute. Is that too little?

What did you get for heat of reaction?

I need a good topic that wouldn't be too general or too common. Nobody should think of it so easily, it's better if its something like a audio-visual display, a visual display, a fixed model or a working model (no experiments), that a pair of thirteen-year-olds can handle by themselves. It would be nice even if its another simple topic, even under 'Organic Chemistry' or 'Medicinal Chemistry'.
