Any shop specialising in laboratory supplies carries pH paper.
It comes in small strips made like a booklet.
The booklet has a graded colour chart which helps you judge the pH
using the paper.

You can usually find pH strips at a garden center or in a pet shop (for Aquariums). You can also try a place that sells swimming pools/supplies.
You might have a local science surplus supply store nearby, or you can probably find it on the internet as well.

A store like Lowe's (I know I've seen them there) might sell test strips in the garden department. Maybe Walmart would as well. They might not be the kind you're looking for, but they're with soil test kits.

You should be able to purchase it at a local pharmacy or hardware store.
