A Venus Flytrap will photosynthesize, so it makes its own food, classifying it as an autotroph, however it will capture flies, making it fall under the category of a heterotroph, something that catches its own food, like humans. So, what kind of "troph" is this?

when doing vegetative propagation with fruit trees and grape vines is there a need to take a small twig and cut the both ends of the twig.
i have seen people cutting both ends before they plant the twig. is it absolutely necessary to cut the both ends?
i have also seen people doing the vegetative propagation without cutting the top end. they only cut the end which they plant in the soil.
so, should i cut both ends of the cutting or just one end?

I am learning about plants. I just found out that flowers have sex organs. Does that mean that bees are vital to the survival of plant species? Do bees start the plant's process of reproduction by pollenating the flower? What if a plant doesn't have a flower? How does that plant reproduce?

I recently saw a potted plant that was dried up, with hollow membranous bulbs like dropping hearts, and there was a small orange-red fruit? inside (looked like a pepper honestly). I am REALLY curious what this plant is... as I found that its dried state was really beautiful... please help... I'll look up anything suggested to see if it is what I am referring to... otherwise, I don't have a clue!
