Ok. So biology we have to make a newspaper up or whatever and everything has to be about the various groups of organisms: insects, mammals, angiosperms, gymnosperms, amphibians, annelid worms, nonvascular plants, and protozoans.
And my partner is doing the editorial, so im waiting for her to get done so i can write the letter to the editor. But what should i write about for the lead story? I already know what im going to do for the review. So. Yeah. The lead story has to be a scientific news story about characteristics of each group of organisms & it has to be a news breaking story. Real or not. HELP PLEASEEE.

okay this is my hypothesis for a lab i had to do in biology:
If the carrot is placed in a high fructose solution then it will gain mass.

for the lab there were three carrots in three different cups, one cup had a high sucrose solution, the 2nd had a med. sucrose solution, and the 3rd was a low sucrose solution. the cups have the same amount of solution
i never got a chance to finish so does anyone know if it would actually gain mass? or what the result would be.. ?

Okay so let's say one part of the DNA strand is ACA (Adenine Cytosine Adenine). When the messenger RNA replicates it, would the mRNA make another ACA or do a complementary strand UGU (because Uracil replaces Thymine?)

I wonder if there is enough similarity between neural processes that the brainwaves for something simple like, say, the color red, or the taste of an apple, could, if amplified and fed via electrode into another persons head, be perceived as a real sensation? What fascinating possibilities that could open up! Especially if the signals could be recorded. Is any research being done in this area?
