Ok I have a question about evolution. They say humans came from monkeys(sp) right? Well why are there still monkeys then? Did evolution decide to take a little nap? How could we have came from a monkey if monkekys don't have souls? They are classified as animals not humans. If we evolved from monkeys then how come the monkeys are still here and haven't evolved? If you can answer this I appreciate it, but I doubt you can convince me that I came from a monkey. I only came from one place. If you recommend this question for someone to answer please star it! Thank you.

I am taking genetics, and I cant figure it out. I think the answer is because if a gene is dominant that you can die and wont carry the gene so all that is left are the recessive genes. I dont really know the answer, I just want to find out!!!

I have looked on the Human Genome Project website, and yet, I am unable to find a link anywhere where I can download the entire nitrogen base sequence of a chromosome (just plainly and simply laid out in terms of ATGC). Do you know where I can go? Preferrably, this would be an online reference that I could download, as apposed to a book, because my end goal is to get all of the information in a manipulatable text or word processor document.
