I'm guessing the answer is heck no, since the remains are now fossilized but I'll ask it anyway.

ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - Ethiopian scientists unveiled on Wednesday a 3.3 million-year-old fossil of a girl, which they believe is the most complete skeleton ever found.

The fossil including an entire skull, torso, shoulder blade and various limbs was discovered at Dikaka, some 400 kms northeast of the capital Addis Ababa near the Awash river in the Rift Valley.

"The finding is the most complete hominid skeleton ever found in the world," Zeresenay Alemseged, head of the Paleoanthropological Research Team, told a news conference.

Sorry for the technical question but does anyone out there work on EMs.

Basically I work on a protein which has two different conformations (which can be distinguished under an EM) I just need a way of describing the abundances of them beyond 'there looks like theres more x than y'. So I can put some numbers to my data.

Does anyone know if there is a standard technique for this out there? And what it would be called so I can do a proper PubMed search (or even better a citation). Ahhh There's never anyone in the EM section when I need them.

Thanks

Why is it that I can remember little unimportant events that happened in my childhood over 20 years ago, but I can't remember what I wore last Monday? I know major events or traumatic events that happened in your life your brain will remember for years, but I can remember one particular day sitting in my elementary school classroom listening to the teacher talk about some uninteresting fact. I cannot remember any other days immediately surrounding this one event. So, I'm a just wondering if any of you science minded folks know how your brain decides which little events to pick out from your past and store permanently in your memory?

I mean, is it carried in the genes of the man or woman? Is it something that happens at the time of conception? I've noticed often that some families have lots of boys or lots of girls.

I don't really believe in evolution, at least human evolution, I know other animals evolve, it's a proven fact, but I'm still all for God created humans. But anyway my question is, if evolution really did happen, and chimps evolved into humans, then in a few million years, what are humans going to be? You know if we don't kill each other off before then.
