no, crickets like most insects excrete waste as urea (as a solid in their frass[crap])not as urine. Their droppings break down fast and are good fertilizer for plants. Make people go blind? I suppose any crap in your eyes could do that, at least temporarily

Who ever thought of telling people cricket urine would make people blind. Probably some kids mother to get the child to stop playing with them because the mother was afraid of insects. I keep thinking I have heard them all. Did you know that white people eat very young Asian people. Not true, however here where I live I hear mothers tell their very young when one of us is near that we eat little children so stay away. The mothers do not think some of us understand their language. To them we are all the same just as many white people think Asians are all the same. Sure a lot of that kind of thing around.

hmm, interesting question. I would think that they do, in some form or another, as all animals must release excess water and processed toxins from the liver and kidneys. I am not sure about the internal organ structure of a cricket but i would have to say that they are not so efficient as to have no waste. it is possible however that they eliminate they're waste in a liquid/solid combo though. As far as blinding you, i would have to think that was a negative because of the incredibly small volume of material a cricket could produce. It would have to be amazingly concentrated or bacteria laden in order to have any effect at all. No facts here...just my opinion.
