I agree, when a rock is thrown here on earth, there is no sound till it hits the ground. But there are colliding asteriods all over in space. Comets with mass tails following from behind. And the all those dishes pointing out to space must pick up something or they wouldn't get the grant money to build them. So what sounds are out there?

It might seem a stupid question but think about it. The sun is 150 million kilomters away from the sun. Which means that the Earth's inclined rotational (and relatively small) distance shifting our point of view from the sun should not have an effect on the sun's visible brightness. So what's the main reason?

This may sound gross, but I have been interested in this for a while. Usually, people just say they would freeze, if not in the sun's direct light (or burn if they were), others claim they would suffocate from lack of oxygen, and still others claim that they would blow up from lack of pressure. Any help from an expert or expert sources would be useful. Thanks.

Is this a land mark distinction that blue eye brunettes made the world by indicating it blue skies blue sea's and brown hair for brown land. and that the others are imposters cloning themselves from our fecal left in water by amphibians and water bugs?

that suns, and other stars, are really cubes of gas moving so fast that they appear to be spherical. It sounds insane to me, but is this true? It was on a looney toon assed "aliens are going to come destroy us all website".

This is a hypotehetical question for a game. If your in a ship and you can't see how to get out or where you are, how do you tell which nebula you are in? Would it be from the consistency of the gases or the particles or what?

ok here is an interesting one.

I have a theory about aliens, i believe that they are humans who have come back in time after a few thousand years to see what led to the way they are,

there have been to many sightings and reports to not think that they are a part of this world. i mean they are said to come and take cows, water, humans, embryos, and other stuff, they leave crop circles that we understand, like comunicating with us,

so my theory is that they are us, but when we have evolved, and i think they mean us no harm, just that they now have the technology to come back and see what we are like, and maybe leave clues as to what we will be like in a few thousand years.

what do u think???

I just want to look at the moon's surface for the most part. Maybe some stars (but I know that star will just look like a bigger shiny dot).

In my university, I used a Huge telescope to look at the Saturn when it came close to earth few years back and I was AMAZED. I initially thought they put a little picture of saturn inside the lens. I was able to see the ring so clearly and even Saturn's orbiting moons. =D Too bad I can't afford those!
