This single person, would have the abilities of flight, as well as the abilitity to generate physical forces that are impossible to imagine in reality.
He or she would try to stop the moon from impacting against earth, by coming to a stillstand in the upperatmosphere (vertically) of earth, and widen his/hers arms as much as he/she can, and then proceed by pressing the opened palms of his/her hands against a tiny portion of moons surface.
If the person would be able to generate enough force to oppose the mass of the moon(when it`s already in the upper atmosphere of terra), what would happen with the moon?

Would the parts where he/she would be not applying her strength(which is 99,9%, of its surface), break or shatter, because of the gravitiational forces which come from earth?

Yes I do love superheroe/heroine based fiction, but I`m interested to hear what people have to say about the scientific side of this.

How was your first ghost hunt??? I've been on hundreds and they are awesome and sum are scary. My first one was actually by accident and I have been hooked since(I was only 6yrs old when that happened now i am in my late 20's). I've experienced quite a few wierd things like when i first moved into my house i was lying in bed when i thought i saw a glimpse of a woman walking into the bathroom.Another time i heard what sounded like the shower curtain moving and i ran straight into my parent's room to tell them,when i went back into my room one of my posters had fallen off of the wall and it wasn't the poster i heard moving because i was looking in that direction when i heard the noise.One night i was watching TV with my family downstairs when i heard something heavy fallen over(it sounded like a cupboard)directly above us in my parent's room,when we went up to see what had fallen over nothing everything was in place and no cupboards had fallen over(this totally spooked us out).Last year my parent's heard the back door open by itself and we know for sure that no one was around.The other week my dad was coming down the stairs when he said a penny flew over his shoulders and landed on the stairs in front of him.

The other day at work, my colleague was palm reading as a joke. I usually only resort to it as a joke. When she read my palm she said I bunch of things about me that I never talk about or I only talk about under the shield of anonimity on the Internet. My husband is so psychic its driving me crazy. He tells me everything about everything before it happens. He will even complete a sentence that I have only in my mind. Unfortunatly we cant use these powers for financial wealth. I just don't get how it works. Its not physical, he's not a computer. This family has 5 members. Each one has a dog. They need to cross a steam so they rented a boat that could only carry 3 living things, dogs or people. Each dog was only comfortable only with its owner and could not be near another person, not even momentarily, unless its owner was present. Dogs could be with other dogs. The crossing would have been impossible except taht Lisa's dog wad attnded a first-rate obediance school and knew how to operate a boat. No other dogs could. Okay,this is weird but here goes. Have you ever seen a shadow that could not be accounted for? How about seeing the movement of a shadow that could not be accounted for? I'm very serious about this. I don't use drugs, so I know that I'm not tripping. I keep seeing weird things in my bedroom at night. Shadows where there shouldn't be, moving shadows and flashes of light that I cannot explain.

Ok, this is really scarin the **** out of me. I'm native american so I believe in the paranormal and everything so I don't know what to think. One night I was laying in bed and I felt like something was holding me down and I couldn't move and I felt like I was being raped but there was nothing and nobody there. Baring in mind we are dealing with the "unknown" and "unexplained" so far.
It must be like trying to prove the Earth revolves around the Sun; or the Earth is not flat.
Are there any base line tests that can be worked on?
Or is any significant data stored until future generations may be able to work with the findings?

If it takes time for our brains to process information..( light, touch, smell, ect..) then isn't what we think the present is.. actually off by 750 milliseconds(guesstimate) from real time?

by "real time" i mean the instant an event occurs as opposed to the time it takes for our brains to realize it.
