My husband is so psychic its driving me crazy. He tells me everything about everything before it happens. He will even complete a sentence that I have only in my mind. Unfortunatly we cant use these powers for financial wealth. I just don't get how it works. Its not physical, he's not a computer. Its some higher power (spiritual) and I just can't figure out the concept.

No one knows how psychic abilities work. First, there are many types of psychic abilities (ESP, PK, Remote Viewing, Telepathy, etc.) and they may all have something in common and they may all have different explanations. Also, there is different levels of evidence for their existence.
Second, parapsychologist (and psychical researchers) spent years on research to gather evidence that this phenomena was real thus it was called proof oriented research. Only recently have parapsychologist started to conduct process oriented (how it works) research.
Third, scientific research can be viewed at the web site for the Parapsychological Association http://www.parapsych.org/ which has been an affiliate of the American Association for the Advancement of Science http://www.aaas.org/ since 1969.
Finally, allow me to suggest some possible reading on the subject:
1. The Demon Haunted World by Carl Sagan is a good book for the skeptical arguments.
2. The Conscious Universe by Dean Radin is a good book for a parapsychologist perspective.
3. Test Your Psychic Powers by Susan Blackmore (skeptic) has some interesting tests.
4. Mental Radio by Upton Sinclair describes early experiments betwee him and his wife that you might find interesting.

Thats easy,
a) your husband is probably very good at anticipating causes and effects.
b) your husband has been around you long enough to know how you think. Me and my wife finish each other sentences too.
c) we have the tendency to notice when someones prediction is right and not when they are wrong. For example, the day before me and my spouse saw "The Village" I guess the ending from the 7 minute teaser on tv. Now she wont let me talk about movies before we go see them, because she thinks I will guess the ending and ruin it. Only one movie and I could have passed it off as psychic abilities if I wanted. Really it was just because I knew the way M. Night thinks and got lucky.

Proffessional psychics usually use a technique called cold reading. In this technique they are vague until you give them the answers and then they turn it around and make you think they told you the answers. Most people fall for it.
Or they use hot reading. In this technique they research a person and pretend they know nothing, and use that information to make them think they are psychic.

When you get to know someone really well, you can often predict their answers, down to the very same syntax. My wife and I experience this routinely. Furthermore, it is a common phenomenon, known to many.

The reason psychic research has been downgraded or stopped by many reputable organisations is because it doesn't work. Results from long term studies show that positive results are no more than what you would expect from chance.

Your husband is no more psychic than my wheelbarrow. I respect your opinion however; if you think you are going crazy, you are probably right.

Actually, psychic phenomena has been demonstrated to be true in many studies ,including some by the US military. I do not believe it is something caused by demons or gods. The average human uses just 10% of their brain, the rest must be there for some reason. Some people are able to acess more of their brain power and can aand have demonstrated psychic power. As for the offers from the doubters, there are many people who would deny it if it walked up and bit them.

Are you familiar with the term 'etheric'? According to many spiritualists and psychics the etheric web functions in a similar fashion as does our own nervous system, sending messages from here to there.

The book TELEPATHY by Alice A Bailey does an excellent job explaining the interconnectedness of all living beings. According to Bailey we'd all be telepathic except that we've constructed obstacles that temporarily prevent it. She says that everytime we leave a negative thought or emotion dangling between us and another we've restricted the flow of energy from one heart to another. Maybe your husband is one of those rare individuals who don't harbor any ill feelings toward anyone.

It makes sense scientifically and spiritually. All of her books are well worth reading.

You know, I can often predict things, and sometimes it amazes my wife. But I don't need psychic powers to do it. And often I can complete her sentences, but again it doesn't take psychic powers to do such a thing.

It doesn't work at all. Your husband just knows you really well. If it worked at all for anyone, someone in the last 30 years would have been able to win a million bucks off this guy http://www.randi.org .

If it's not predictable or testable or repeatable, maybe it didn't actually work in the first place.

It doesn't work. It doesn't exist. What does exist is coincidence and the tendency of people to attribute supernatural causes to unusual but natural occurrences.
Your husband is not psychic. No one is.

(Apparently Alice Bailey hasn't studied physics a great deal.)

for me, it comes in the form of visual dreams, or sometimes I "feel" an answer in my head, a word comes to mind, or words come to my mind. I can "feel" if someone is lying or telling the truth, or even what is going to happen. (The most profound experience was knowing that my mom was going to die young at the age of 48).

I use my powers for financial wealth.....you just need to ask the powers that be to help you, and who ever your spiritual guide is, will help you guide you to the right path to take, or ask God directly through prayer. It works, then wait for an answer. Maybe it will come in the form of a dream, or a "feeling" of the best direction to go.....
Sylvia Brown's books helped me alot to understand my abilities, and I also visited a real psychic. She helped me to understand my abilities, and she also told me to simply "trust" in myself, ask God for help, and to start journaling my psychic experiences
