don't understand your pool question

If your goal is to find out what people believe, that's fine. Don't make the mistake of thinking that an opinion poll will inform you of reality.

Your question is essentially un-answerable, since it begs the question of there existing any alien abductees at all.

The question "how many people delivered by caesarian section are alien abductees?" is easier to answer: None.

Years ago I heard the idea that these experiences may be triggered by vestigial memories perhaps related to birth. The only way to determine if they are related to caesarian delivery would be to find out how many "abductees" were born that way and compare it to the average. And it wouldn't just have to be caesarian. Natural birth could conceivably be the source.
I'm a little skeptical, though. In my opinion, these experiences are caused by much more recent simuli. And none of it from outer space.

Abductees have been studied. The researchers came the conclusion that they are all suffering from a sleep disorder they call Premature Night Paralysis.

They actually have nightmares right before they go to sleep. Since they know that they are still awake, the subconscious part of the mind creates a believable story line for the conscious mind so they can cope with the terrifying aspects of the disorder.

Once people know what it is, and accept it, the hallucinations change to much less scary versions of themselves.

Accepting it is usually hard for them though. The stories come out of the person's own set of beliefs and superstitions. Those die hard.

None. Alien abductions are the result of something called Sleep Paralysis. I wont go into details, but it happen to about 1 in 5 people at least once in thier lives. It is multicultural and goes back centuries that we know of. It is not a dream, and not awake, so it is often very difficult for the victim of sleep paralysis to pass it off. It is more accuratly described as a vivid hallucination, most frequently with a greyish figure standing over the person, or sitting on his chest.
Movement is restricted, as the persons motor skills are turned off for sleep, but consious thought is active. The person can move thier eyes, and get noises out, although with no mouth or tongue movement, it is just raspy whispers in real life.
This phenomenon is well documented and accounts for a number of ancient legends in many cultures such as succubus and cats sucking out your breath at night.

Not me.

This has been the most interesting question asked on Yahoo! Answers (so far)...
I personally have mixed opinions about aliens..., I'd like to hear more about your theory though... it sounds uh... unique.

(May I also add this is not a very good way to set up a poll, if you have a Yahoo! 360 page, you can create an actual poll on there - that way you'll get better responses, as well as more serious answers... just a suggestion).

AMEN, LD!

Attempting to validate :"alien abductees" by trying to separate those that were C-section from those that weren't, deliberately ignores the fact that their existence at all hasn't even been established.

Very flawed logic.
