I was watching "Biggest Loser"...and they've lost around 800lbs. If everything stays on the earth...what does that weight (fat etc) become once it's not on the person?. (please don't say it goes in the toilet) I mean when you exercise etc and lose it. Does it become something else?

Salvia's effects: sensual enhancement, magical journeys, enchantment, apparent time travel, philosophical insights, spiritual experiences, and perhaps even healing and divination. It should not be used casually. It should always be used in a thoughtful, intelligent manner, and only by responsible adults that are of sound mind and clear intent.

The shaman of Mexico has used it for hundereds of years to help less spiritual people reach that type of state of mind.

A friend called me one night in late November to talk. Her boyfriend wasn’t at home and she was a little scared of some noises. They had lived in that little house out in the countryside for years and strange noises had never bothered her before. The sounds from the woods surrounding the house and the animals in it were something that she was used to, but the noise she was hearing was different. She told me that it sounded as if a man walked up the steps to their front door, stomped his feet to get the snow of his boots and then opened the door. The first time she thought is was a friend that came to visit and went to the hallway to greet him, but there was no one there. The second time she went to the hallway she thought someone was playing a prank on her and she opened the front door to yell at him. It had been snowing and there were no tracks in the snow. That’s when she called me.

...or more specifically, time-scale disruption is a brief glimpse into the ethereal. We've all heard people say that when they were in a car accident, time slowed down. Not like "gee is it ever going to be quitting time" but even these segments show us the variability of time.

I was thinking recently of human longevity. How if we went through life totally present in the now, how time would slow and we would live much "longer" than we do now.
Why use medical science to give us more calendar years when all we have to do is be more present and just live our moments to quadruple our "life-time".

Any insights?

IN the directions it says,
"Answer each of the five questions in 300 words or fewer"

Now im confused, does that mean
1. EACH of the five questions must be 300 words or kess
or
2. The five questions should have 300 words ALL TOGETHER

Anyone have any ideas?

The B2 Spirit, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor, are all reputed to have a radar signature of a small bird, while the F-35 Lightning II is rumoured to be virtually invisible to radar.
So, if terrestrial aircraft are this stealthy, why do flying saucers show up as HUGE radar images, particularly when the radar is passive and only responds to transponders?
If they want to be seen so badly, why do they not just land in times square.
Or if they are so careful not to be noticed, then why do they blatantly advertise themselves?
Perhaps they do not have radar where they come from.
I find it hard to believe that a civilization as advanced as they must be to have conquered interstellar distances, have not stumbled upon echo-location.

Years ago it was considered Science Fiction. Maybe years from now paranormal will be considered a true part of Science too.

This is not Science!
This puerile nonsense is best placed in R&S or mythology!
Any fellow proper scientists out there agree that this sub-category trivializes true science and should be removed from S&M?

Psychics, what can you tell me about yourselves? How do you use the phenomena which some people call "psychic" (an absurdley open ended, indistinct, and all inclusive term, in my opinion), and what exactly constitutes being psychic?
