I would say 10 minutes before your eyes were seriously damaged.
When i stared at the sun i only went blind in one eye.

When I was in high school a friend, on a bet to see who could look at the sun the longest, lost about half of her sight. Almost all of her night vision. By the time she way 30 she was no longer allowed to drive a car. By age 40 she was legally blind and could only see light and dark.
Don't do it.

Actually, no one has ever gone permanently blind from staring at the Sun. Sure, maybe blind for a few months, but not permanently. Even Galileo took forever to go blind, and he was not only staring at it half the day but also magnifying it - that's much worse.

But it's still not a good idea.

Doesn't take all that long to burn your retinas, few min you would be damaged, 10 min your eyes would be shot, over 10 if anyone could stand the pain that long you would be blind.

Thats a guess, but only a few seconds damage your eyes. They usually repair that couple seconds worth, usually not always.

It depends. You can't give an exact answer. On average about an hour till you go completely blind.

I would say about one hour before permanently damaging your eyes. About 3 hours staring at the ocean's reflection of the sun.

Only a few seconds. Even less to damage your eyes. Don't do it.

Formulate a hypothesis and test it. See ya, because you won't be seeing me.
