The B2 Spirit, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor, are all reputed to have a radar signature of a small bird, while the F-35 Lightning II is rumoured to be virtually invisible to radar.
So, if terrestrial aircraft are this stealthy, why do flying saucers show up as HUGE radar images, particularly when the radar is passive and only responds to transponders?
If they want to be seen so badly, why do they not just land in times square.
Or if they are so careful not to be noticed, then why do they blatantly advertise themselves?
Perhaps they do not have radar where they come from.
I find it hard to believe that a civilization as advanced as they must be to have conquered interstellar distances, have not stumbled upon echo-location.

If they don't know about radar, then why do they carry transponders enabling them to show up on airport radar?

I never said we got it from ET's. They are apparently so clumsy, why didn't they steal it from us?

How does the radar differentiate a UFO from any other aircraft. This concept as the stench of Bull s hit about it.

I see what you are getting at, but you are wasting your time with these idiots.
While I definitely believe there is life out there, and very likely intelligent life. The only thing the evidence so far reveals is that there is no life as advanced as we are. Based upon the fact that while we are pumping out enormous amounts of information into space, and we haven't heard anything from another civilization.
We can speculate that:
A: We are alone
B: We are the most advanced civilization in creation
C: Other civilizations that have achieved our level of sophistication or surpassed it are far too distant for us to have received transmissions from, and like wise too far to have physical contact with.
By the way, Peter D. and Dave S. are idiots, and what the hell is John S. talking about.
I don't understand why he is explaining radar to you, when it is obvious that he is suffering from some sort of Bull s hit affliction that you have so correctly diagnosed.
Besides atc radar IS passive.
HEY, JOHN S. YOOHOO... Remember how the terrorists deactivated the transponders during the Sept. 11 attacks, and they fell of the screens? Huh, remember that?
John, obviously you do not know that UFO is an acronym, and it is IMPOSSIBLE for any radar to screen out a UFO. Damn your dumb.
Best of luck with the idiots Tex. Take heart though, their probably yankees. They can't help it their stupid.

Stealth comes from the study of radar signatures. This is how a hi-tech modern planes radar works. It can read the surface of a enemy aircraft and tell if it is friend or foe by its shape. I had a friend that worked for the navel electronics lab back in the early 60's when they started this work, and by the end of the 60's it was already working in our planes. Transponders are for fast marking friendly craft. Some radar systems are made to not show UFO signatures, which brings up a bunch of questions. If UFO are really from outer space wouldn't you want to know where they were, unless the military knows where they are already.

Stealth technology was not given by aliens, but developed fron an idea and then still was not proven to work off of paper until ****** made a 1/4 size model of the stealth fighter inside of a hanger at the Skunkworks. When the engineers began work the next morning after it was placed inside without the cover, they noticed that there were many dead bats laying about the floor and that was the moment they knew that the technology actually worked, not a gift from above.
That is all I can tell you.

Our stealth aircraft were designed specifically to have a low radar signature. It's possible the ET UFOs are not aware of radar or did not have radar stealth in mind when designing their spacecraft. I mean, they have to design craft that can travel many times the speed of light just to get here to probe us. The craft must be large enough to accommodate provisions for a flight lasting potentially hundreds of years just for them to get here and back. Oh, and there has to be a probing room too, so this thing has to be pretty big. Something that big is bound to show up on radar, right?
