I would have thougtht that it is pronounced "kursten"; but I have heard it pronounced as "keersten".

Yes Caralyn is kind of made up, but we only chose this so that we could call her Cara...i am not fond of just Cara as a first name because it seems incomplete too me!!

We have a list of names we liked and have now agreed that these are the three we will pick out of:
Bailey
Molly
Maisie
We will wait to see which suits her best, but I was wondering your opinions on them and what would go nice as a middle name. Her surname will be either be Barker (mine) or Young (her dads). Also, what do you think is a nicer way of spelling Bailey.. bailee/bailie or just the usual bailey. thanks

My Husband and I are waiting to find out the sex of our baby. I think it is going to be another girl. We both like the name Presley. I think the middle name should be short, but no Ann or Marie because my first daughters name is Makaylah Ann-Marie. Please help!!!

I have a friend (she's African-American) who is pregnant with her first child. She's having a girl and has picked out a few names:

Sequioa (Se-coy-ah)
Tarnesha (Tar-nee-shah)
Laquesha (La-kee-shah)
Tarmay
Rakaye (Ray-Kay-Ay)

She wants my honest opinion and I personally think these names are way too "ghetto". I think her child would be judged by her name. I don't know how to tell my friend this because I'm white and she may think I'm racist.

Honestly what do you think of and picture when you hear these names? What would you tell her?

I am only 6 weeks pregnant with triplets but i am so excited and am thinking of names already. As its so early we dont know the sexes of the babies so i gonna think of 3 girls and 3 boys names. OK, so we were decided on:
Merrick Pierce
Keatyn Leonard
and
Tallon Eve.

But then my husband suggested the name Haven. I'm due in about a month and I was pretty confident in those names and now I'm freaking out!

Ok, it just so happens that 3 of our family friends recently got pregnant. It also just so happens that they all are clueless on what to name their sons. They're all very different so here are the preferences of each of them:

#1. They want something trendy and masculine. She says and I quote "We need to pump testosterone into the little bugger!" lol. Right now she likes Jackson & Axel but needs more choises. The last name is Sasson

#2. They want a Celtic/Gaelic name. She likes Cameron and he likes Ryder so they've both agreed to not use either one haha. Last name is Herlihey (her-la-he).

#3. Last one, they're into more classical names, so far they like Jack but they're also thinking about Alexander (Alex). Last name is Carter.


I'd like to thank anyone who answers this question for their help!
