I'm having my third boy and was looking for a name that would go well with the other two. Our family is Italian and Brazilian so we're trying to stay away from names that are too American (it would sound weird with our last name)...

I really like the name Jolie (it means pretty in French) for a girl, but when I ask anyone if they like it they say "no" or "it's a last name" so I'm kinda torn about it. What should I do, go with my heart or just pick another name?

It seems on the majority that no one really likes my boy names...William Edward and Patrick James. So I went through to come up with some new ones. I really like old-fashioned and traditional names, but I want them to sound a little trendy too. This is the list of other names I like: Nolan, Vincent, Walter, Timothy, Gregory, Wallace, and Stanley. Are these names better? What are your favorites out of these? Does anyone have any other suggestions with the styles I like?

Just curious. An aquaintence of mine has a little boy by that name but I had always assumed it was "Christian". We received a birthday invitation and I see that it's actually spelled with a K.
I've never seen that before. Is it common? New trend?
