Wonderful names, I love them!
Megan Claire has a nice ring to it and Megan and Claire are great girly names
Katherine Grace, two of my favorite names, they sound good together too
David Wilson, strong sounding name, I love David and Wilson is cool too
Austin Cade, sometimes I like Austin and sometimes I don't, with Cade, which is one of my favorite names, I like it a lot

First of all if you want to call her Kate or Katie, then just call her that. My name is Katie and nothing annoys me more than when people assume it must be Katherine. Katie is a name on it's own and I like it. I think it is nicer than Katherine which is so over-used and old fashioned. You don't here so many plain Katies so much any more.
As for the rest of your suggestions..
Megan is not bad, although If you want it prounounced Mee-gan spell it with an a Meagan otherwise people will call her Megg-an. I dont' really dig Claire at all, but you could get away with it as a middle name.
David is at the top of my list as boys names I detest, and Austin sounds too bold and the beautiful for me. So I guess I'm not much help. But good luck.

I like the Katherine Grace one for a girl and the Austin Cade for a boy.
Megan I just don't like... I really don't know why, sorry to all the females named Megan.
And Wilson reminds me of that neighbor guy from that one show Home Improvement.
David is cute though, that's what I'm naming my lil boy, David Jackson.

Megan Claire: Sounds a little dated. It flows and all, just a little 90's.
Katherine Grace: Nice! Old Fashioned meets Modern...
David Wilson: Sounds like a family name, if not, it's nice, not my fave, but nice.
Austin Cade: Two of the names I just can't stand!!

I like Katherine Grace (katie) and David (don't like Wilson, reminds me of the Volleyball on "Cast Away") David Cade is cute. David is my sons name.
