Baby Names - February 2007

I am very fond of Vesper, Solveig and Dagmar. Are they too strange for a child? Better as middle names?

Having Twins- Doctor says they are girls but I know that they aren't always right.

Oh by the way- if you question the spelling of names, We have chosen to use names of family and friends that have played significant roles in our life. The names are spelled the same way that their names are spelled.
Also Jasper is my mother-in-laws middle name. So that's where that comes from.

Ok. Last night I posted that we were thinking about adopting 4 little kids with very ethnic names, and probably giving them American names. Everyone jumped all over me with "how could you even think about doing that?" Then tonight, I posted one of their names as a "what do you think of this name?" and everyone jumps all over me about how she'll "get picked on" all her life and "bullied" and "will become a great poet," etc.

So which is it? should I let her get picked on or should I change her name?

Me again...

Wanting your opinion on more baby names. We're trying to compose a list for the hospital that we can choose from once we see her. I think that's the only way we'll ever agree to a name. But, I think my husband is wearing down, hehehehe.

Estelle Luella
(my mom's middle name is Lou after my grandpa's caregiver during the depression after his mother died - he was abused by his step mother so this name means something to the family)

Louella Bess
- I've not thought of a middle name but it could be a middle name, it's my grandpa's surname. Even Luella Bess would be cute, do you like it spelled better Louella? The name was commonly spelled both ways in the late 1880s...


Do you guys like these? Either of them? Should I add them to our growing list?

Ive been thinking of naming my baby boy Tatum, the only problem?
