I love them both. Can't decide. I also like Elijah.

Izzy? Dizzy, Wizzy, Kizzy (Kunta Kintay's daughter in "Roots") Fizzy, Lizzie, how could he not get picked on with a nick name like that?

I love them both, too! It is so hard to decide. But, I would choose Isaiah. It means "God is my salvation" while Isaac means "laughter." I'm just going for a more Biblical meaning.

Congrats!
I like them all, but here's my ranking. Elijah is my favorite and is not too common so he likely wont have to deal with being one in a crowd.
I also like Isaac, which is a little more traditional, and then Isaiah. I love the old biblical names, but for some reason I am least drawn to Isaiah.
If you generally like these names, what about Caleb or Noah? These are all favorites of mine. I would spend some time considering the flow of his first, middle and last name, as well as what his initials would spell and if the names you've chosen would ever be embarrassing or difficult to spell (none of the above are.) These are all things that can make childhood unbearable (especially middle school).
Whatever you choose, I hope that you are happy with your decision!!!

You know not everybody gets picked on as a child. Personally the way you are so overly concerned about the children you are adopting getting picked on all the time I'd say you weren't very popular and you got majorly picked on. Not everyone gets picked on and it only hurts if you let it. I have a weird name and I never got picked on. Nick-names are fun. I like Isaac more then Isaiah but I like them both. They are great names and a lot of children have them. Isaac means child of laughter nick-names include but not limited to; Ike, Zac, or Isa. I think you need to learn to relax and laugh more. This world isn't as mean as you think it is.

I like all 3 names. Boy this is a toughy.
My 1st choice would be Isaiah! Such a beautiful name...but then again so are the other ones.
Have fun deciding. Let us know what name you eventually picked.
Enjoy your priceless gift of love.

Look both up for meanings. I think Parenting.com has a thing where you can find out not only traditional meanings but what traits are associated with that name- what people are going to picture when they hear it. Then go with the one who'se meaning you like best.
BTW, I was looking at some of your older questions. You asked if anyone had heard of naming a child Peace. I have not but.....my girl is named Harmony.
(And in light of her personality, I shall never name one Chastity or Angel!!)

Isaiah. I too really like Elijah. I like Jonah a lot too, since it seems you are going with the Bible names. Isaiah would be my favorite though.
