My sister is pregnant and we still do't know what the child would be so we picked up names for girl and boy. What do you think of Uryne [ju:'ri:n] for a boy and Vagynae ['veigana] (I don't mean Vagina, but Vagynae)for a girl?

It seems to me the top baby girl names like Sopia, Emma, Olivia, Ella, Sarah, and Abigail are old-fashioned names - they are just really popular so no one looks at them as old-fashioned anymore. I have always been drawn to older names but now that I'm having children my lifelong favorites that my friends used to make fun of me over are now their kids names! So, I'm now going even further "out of the box" and looking for something pretty and feminine but a bit different. Some on my list that I like are Millicent, Evelyn and Genevieve. (you can see what I mean) I'm still trying to find the one name that I love - do you know of any different old-fashioned names that are not super popular?

My husband and I are expecting our second baby this summer. We have a son named George. We generally like tradtional and classic names. We fell in love with the name Beatrix. We also love the nickname Trixie. However, EVERYONE we tell this name to says that Trixie is the name of a stripper or a prostitute. Do you agree?

My mom is pregnant again and for the last time..... we all have k names. Katrina, Kalin, Keagen.......she wants to stick with that. If it is a girl the name will be Kaydence and if it is a boy it will be Karson. The middle names deal with family names....if it is a girl it will end in "elle". My mom's is Michelle, im Nielle and my aunt is Noelle...soooo......if it is a giril it will either be Ann-linelle or Lannelle. If it is a boy it will be part of my granpas last name....Owen.

DO you guys like them????
Kaydence Lannelle (Ann-linelle) Karson Owen

my boyfriend and i are expecting a baby boy in april. he has one child already-Cozette. (not from me). i really want the baby to have a name that doesnt start with a C, nor rhymes with Devon (the father's name). we want to pick a name together, and we are trying to make our own lists of personal favorites to compare....here's the problem:

i'm having a difficult time finding names that are not overused (john, james, anything older like that), and are relatively different-but not overly strange like Apple or Pear or something weird like that. what are some names? :) thanks for your help!!

We are going to name our son Jack, so what do you think of Jack Xavier Lundquist? Or provide other suggestions.

Benjamen (Ben for short) Edward
Natalie Anneliese
William (Will for short) Landon
Lena Elizabeth

By the way, all the middle names are after a character from a book that I really adored reading about. I love to read....
Edward: After Edward from "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer
Anneliese: After Anne Frank. (her name was Anneliese and I think it's prettier then just Anne.)
Landon: After Landon in "A Walk To Remember"
Elizabeth: After Elizabeth Bennet. From Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

Is this weird?
