Why pick out a nickname? I'm not sure I understand the concept of naming your child one name then calling them another. My daughter's name is Victoria, we call her Victoria, not Vickie or Tory. If I wanted people to call her one of those names I should have named her one of those names instead of Victoria. My husbands name is David. We call him David, not Dave or Davey. Just my opinion of course.

Two syllables is too much work? Some friend!
Anyway, isn't Booty a synonym for treasure? You could call her Booty, but there's that pesky second syllable again. You poor thing. Just be glad her name isn't Treasureofthesierramadre, I guess.

Tress.
But why would you name a baby something that you don't want to call her??
Nicknames usually just happen. I don't think they're planned so much.
Anyway, Treasure is a cute name!

How about Trea - (tree-ah)
Only bad thing is she might be laughed at by kids as she becomes a teen (especially if her body matures slower)

I don't know about a nickname, but I can think of plenty of nasty things boys will probably have to say about that name as she gets older.
