That this has been going on for some time in our nation is a disgrace and should not be allowed to happen-now other VA hospitals with shockiing conditions is coming to light.

What do you think should be done as concerns this sad situation and the negligence of proper care of our veterans?

A bunch of Zombee turks are afrter me harassing me only because I am European and I said some thing about the EU and why they should not join til they clean up after their genecides and kiling people even today in their country. We are free to talk about any political issues even when it happens in our own backyards but these people are so determinated to kill me by coming into evey one of my boxes. THis is the caracter I am talking about. A typical caracter of some Zombee group of people!I belive in freedom and if I was to say and talk about any politic I will do it witout harassing any one or going after an other person only because he or she does nto agree with me!There is a big gap between our civilization and the middle eastern turk who can not get any criticism, i am sorry about that but i was born in a free country adn i believe we are free to speak our minde s adn not to get hurt, harassed or followed by a bunch of middle eastern Zombees?Thank u and god blesses u all

I know we rushed into the war in Iraq, but now that its been going on 4 years, and our soldiers are dieing everyday. Why doesn't the whole world help us by sending troops, help get rid of the insurgents, stablize the country and then Iraq can get back on its feet. It seems we are trying it alone and nothing is being done.

From the start, I've been oppossed to the war in Iraq. I've felt bad for the Americans that have died or been injured fighting, Bush's war, but this film really opened my eyes how seriously this war is destroying young Americans. The trauma that is being experienced by US troops should condemn Bush and all the money grabing neo cons to he!! for eternity. Sadly, I'm atheist, so it looks like those s o bs will just profit from the misery they are inflicting on the young of their country.

Sometimes I get really sad at the way the World is...people dying in Iraq and Afghanistan everyday, child molestors kidnapping children and people committing awful crimes to others, starving children in Africa, hundreds of thousands forced from their homes in Sudan....it may sound silly, but all these things really make me sad, and sometimes I feel like my job (an attorney) is so trivial and unimportant in the big scheme of things. I also feel like people are just too materialistic these days (money, fast cars, nice clothes, etc). Sometimes these feelings interfere with my own life by making me feel depressed and helpless. I try to do what I can for charity and stuff...but it just doesn't feel like enough. What can I do???

Is anyone familiar with Haiti and the issues concerning this country? Why does this country deal with such horrible poverty? Especially since the Dominican Republic next door on the same island does not have the same issues?

The election is still 2 years away, so the odds are that something bad (terrorist) will happen in that time, right? So if public sentiment shifts toward support for the war, then what will happen to the Democrats? Will the candidates backpedal, or be like ummm...er, oops?

My husband and I are beginning school at Brigham Young University. They have a very strict Honor Code that all students must sign and agree to follow before being admitted. The Honor Code basically states that all students must live a Mormon lifestyle while attending the school.

You can see the honor code here:

We have signed the Honor Code and have no problem with abiding by it's rules.

Our personal belief is that if the school is private, they have every right to set specific guidelines for their students public and private lives. As long as the students are told up front the rules and are required to sign a contract stating they will obey the rules, we feel there is no problem.

I am wondering what others think. Should private universities such as BYU, Notre Dame and others be allowed to set such guidelines? What about private high schools or grade schools?
