Lets say a polka dot kangaroo takes you wallet carrying $900,000,000. You here that those animals are highly poisenous to touch and once they take something they'll battel to the death to keep their prize. Pretty tough huh?

I am agreed with going into the country to remove Saddam from power, though I thought it would have been hella better if we had more support from other countries. But for the life of me I can not understand why we are still there.

Even if we manage to calm the insurgency no matter what we do as soon as we leave everything will flare back up.

To me it seems inevitable and that there are only two outcomes, the US stays in Iraq and it becomes a situation like Israel and Palestine, or we leave and everything collapses for a while until some dictator manages to bring stability to the country.
The insurgents are not going to go away because Iraq is a rallying cry for all those who think against the US in the region. It is as if we stuck our hand in a camp fire and are only trying to keep our hand from catching fire. Dont mind the fact that the only way to be sure of that would be to put out the camp fire. And the only way to put out the camp fire is to use both hands to get a bucket.

American soldiers and their allies (Great Britain, South Korea, Canada, etc.) are in Iraq, British forces just entered Iran, United Nations peace-keeping troops are in Somalia and NATO is fighting in Aghanistan. There are so many conflicts going on currently. Do you think this is the start of another big war?

Are YOU indifferent? = (That is Q #2)
of the lukewarm and indifferent He said:
"These souls cause Me more suffering than any others; it was from such souls that My soul felt the most revulsion in the Garden of Olives. It was on their account that I said: 'My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass Me by.' The last hope of salvation for them is to flee to My Mercy."

He has said in so many words, I would rather you be hot or cold, luke warm I spit you out!

Come to the light of Christ...
There is nothing better. There ARE spiritual gifts and blessings from above. Just ask and recieve...
NOTE: There are 2 questions to answer so please do not erase for not a question, thank you.
FOR THE IRRELIGIOUS: Stop erasing my posts. We Christians put up with your devilish psycho babble, yet we are always here to help you... Be more thankful and tolerant like us, it is a virtue!

had ANYTHING to do with Anna Nicole's death, and regarding the drug use...where or who KNOWS this to be a fact?
Aren't we all still learning about this whole case? We don't know....so why are we so ready to accuse him to drug use, where did the public get their info...and why would anybody think that it is correct?
Can anybody explain here? What is really going on? Aren't we all a bit too hasty?
Aren't people innocent until proven guilty? Wouldn't you wish to be "innocent until PROVEN " whatever...if you were up against the same scenarios? Think about this!!!
How does one know if he "supplied" drugs or not?
Where is the public getting their info or "misinfo'"?

The democrats, led by Nancy Pelosi, are going to pull our military out of Iraq. That means that they are doing what Al Quaida wants. Doesn't that mean that these people are the best friends Al Quaida has?

Britain’s crisis with Iran deepened last night after Tehran justified seizing 15 British servicemen by claiming that they had strayed into Iranian territorial waters “illegally”.

The announcement appeared to rule out any hope that the incident was a simple mistake that could be quickly rectified.

Instead, there were growing fears that the 15 British sailors and Royal Marines were victims of a deliberate ambush on the disputed Shatt al-Arab waterway by Iranian Revolutionary Guards, perhaps seeking to use the captives as hostages in the increasingly tense stand-off between the West and Iran over its nuclear programme.

St. Mary's paper in Northern Ontario has been ordered to close due to the fact that it has not been able to restructure its finances. The last option put forward is for the employees to take a 20% pay cut. The union voted and rejected this offer and now the mill will close and the largest source of high paying wages in the area will be no more.
The union vote was 92% in favour of rejecting the offer.
Why would people vote so stongly in favour of loosing one of the biggest employers in the region? They now face the alternative of a depressed economy for thier region and good paying jobs being scarce.
