Do you personally know any one who was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 175 (that hit the south tower) or American Airlines Flight 11 (that hit the north tower)?

I have been watching lots of documentaries on 9/11 and it seems strange but they don’t really talk about the passengers on those two planes. Are you a brother, sister, uncle, aunt, friend, work mate of some one who was a passenger who died on those planes?

Maybe its just me, but shouldn't our politicians look out for the interested of the US, rather than Israel's....and surprise surprise, he supports a war on Iran.

It's not like me to regale in someone's misfortune, but with this news, I am ecstatic. I don't see him getting out of this one and it seems to indicate that there is justice, after all. With a relatively intelligent jury, he should go away for quite a while. If he gets away with it, I will never spend another dime in Vegas! (On second thought, why punish all of Vegas if a stupid jury finds him innocent...so, I take that back.)

Some may recall, have heard of, or studied the very powerfull effects of the antiwar movement in America, during the similarly protracted, (much more more costly in US lives) Vietnam war.

All taking place well within living memory.

What reasons can you think of as to why Antiwar interests
towards the current conflict, despite so many blunders by
the interests that initiated and continue to promote the Iraqi occupation, still can't seem to get any really powerful traction
and influence events and decisions, the way they did in the Vietnam era ?
