who is the bravest; the little boy who faces a tank with a rock in his hand, or the soldier who hides himself inside the armoured tank?
who is the bravest; the child who faces the death with his bare chest or the soldier who carries a rifle and hides behind a wall fearing a rock or a sling shot?

This is what a UN commissioner said.
Why is OK for Israel to bomb innocent Lebenese women and children and all America does it give it more bombs?
There's a lot to this issue but 1 thing is the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers was just a pretext for Israel's war against Lebanon. This isn't the 1st time.
There just to much damn hypocrisy here. How can a nation with F-16s and nuclear subs and a per capita GDP comparable to ours always be afraid of a fews hoodlums? Israel's govt seems to like to kill 1st and ask no questions later (wheres all the investigations?)

We need to ask ourselves if the choice is between doing the right thing (Morally and for our Security) and standing up to the Israeli lobby (just once) or greatly increasing the possibility of an attack on an US city most of our hypocritical politicans would choose the latter. Americans we have to let those phoney politicians how we feel and VOTE them out

We must supprt the peace loving people of PLSTN and Lebanon!

Wierdest experience.

The train was super-crowded and this guy was kind of leaning on me and because my stop was just a few stops away, I didnt bother telling him off, despite me being uncomfortable.

He started talking to me and sounded like a real professional guy and a proper gentleman. Then we started a decent conversation. At my stop, he hopped out of the train with me...followed me....grabbed me...and then started kissing me...! WTF?!

I pushed him away...and yelled at him.

He wanted to be friends...and asked for my number. (I didn't give mine) Instead, on purpose, i took down his number pretending that i want to be friends with him.

Now i can just call up the police and report. Or what you think i should do? Ask my boyfriend to bash him up? Or just leave it? Opinions?

On the morning of June 2, last year, Dennis McAninch was dead. After holding hostage for 20 hours a 29-year old woman, Tammi Smith, in a convenience shopping store he held up the day before after cops in police cars chased him with gunfire exchange..........Dennis was dead. Reports say he shot himself under his chin; using his pistol weapon. Miss Smith, thank heavens-she got out of there safe; told reporters that while she and Dennis were inside the store, they exchanged conversations. She observed that Dennis didn't want to go back to prison (he has served time in jail for past crimes). He even mentioned that he'd rather die than go back there. But, as dawn was breaking, the police and the SWAT Team pushed their way into the store. According to some reports, Dennis took his life because he knew what was going to happen next. If only the police were told that Dennis was threatening his life if the police caught him, perhaps... maybe, they could've thought of a better way.......

Sex is on everyone's mind at swinging convention
By Adam Tanner
Sat Jul 22, 12:28 PM ET

LAS VEGAS (Reuters) - Vera Rhodes has come a long way from her conservative upbringing in Pennsylvania's Amish community.

There she was a virgin until she married at age 30. Now, she is an enthusiastic 54-year-old member of the millions-strong "swinging" community who speaks openly of her encounters with multiple sexual partners.

"Last night it was really special," said Rhodes, who is divorced and makes a living giving massages in the Midwestern state of Iowa. "There was a couple from Mexico, a couple from Virginia and a couple from Ireland, from Australia."

"I like to participate in life as much as possible," she said with a broad smile.

The divorcing woman's dilemma
By Linda Stern
Sat Jul 22, 8:18 AM ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Financial advisers have long noted a fear common among their female clients -- the fear of ending up homeless, penniless, alone, and on the street.

It's a fear that stems, at least in part, from the fact that women tend to get poorer when they go through a divorce. Now, many financial advisers are stepping up to help women negotiate those waters.

"Divorced women are swelling the poverty rolls," writes Carol Ann Wilson in an article titled "How to Help Older Divorcing Women Avoid The Bag Lady Blues" in the June issue of the Journal of Financial Planning.

"Arabs in Israel vote. They elect leaders to the Knesset [Israeli parliament]. They have their own political parties. They have their own newspapers. They have full rights to citizenship. They are free to speak their minds. As an Arab-American journalist who has spent a good deal of time covering the region, I can tell you there is more freedom for Arabs in Israel than in any Arab state."

When she ran for New York Senator, she promised to make the Upstate NY economy her #1 priority. She's done nothing but watch our economy crumble even further. I'm disappointed in her.

If you would vote for her, tell me why.

If not, tell me why you wouldn't vote for her.

Thanks. :-)

What if you lived in Texas and coulfd trace your family roots there 2 thousand years. One day strangers from Europe show up at your door explaining that the land you live on actually belonged to them 2 thousand years ago because God had promised it to them and now it's time for you to leave. What if you resisted and you were forcibly removed? Would you fight back or just accept your fate?
