Why is OK for Israel to bomb innocent Lebenese women and children and all America does it give it more bombs?
There's a lot to this issue but 1 thing is the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers was just a pretext for Israel's war against Lebanon. This isn't the 1st time.
There just to much damn hypocrisy here. How can a nation with F-16s and nuclear subs and a per capita GDP comparable to ours always be afraid of a fews hoodlums? Israel's govt seems to like to kill 1st and ask no questions later (wheres all the investigations?)
We need to ask ourselves if the choice is between doing the right thing (Morally and for our Security) and standing up to the Israeli lobby (just once) or greatly increasing the possibility of an attack on an US city most of our hypocritical politicans would choose the latter. Americans we have to let those phoney politicians how we feel and VOTE them out
We must supprt the peace loving people of PLSTN and Lebanon!

Tell those politicians no more lies and that there jobs are on the line! History is judging us and we must do better than we did to the American Nego before the Civil Rights Era or the Native Amricans before Indian Casinos.

We know about the Israeli Govt's target assassinations, bulldozing of Palestinian Houses, and general Oppression of Arabs. While it enjoys a per capita GDP comparable to Norway it gets over $25 Billion in US taxpayers money in 5 years!!
This shame needs to be stopped! E-mail your Congressman and Senator. Its a disgrace that over 400 US Reps voted for a resolution basically saying its OK for Israel to kill innocent women and children b/c (I guess) their lives are not worth anything except their deaths are an embarrassment to Israel and the corrupt U.S. politicians who support Olmert
s Govt.
Guys like Lieberman are a disgrace who care more about Israel's right to kill than he does for humanity or American's security.

yes I'm Lebanese and we just escaped the country and waiting for our relatives to escape as well. Israel LOVES to kill Arab civilians they are enjoying every second of it. they have committed countless massacres in Lebanon in the past and this one is no different. they are currently using illegal weapons on the people and purposely targeting escaping refugees. the media here hardly shows any of the horrors that are happening in Lebanon, where people are burning alive and smashed in there homes. the world doesn't give a **** once Arabs are being killed, imagine if Lebanon was killing this many Israelis that way to get rid of a militia, you think the world will just sit back and let it happen?? i think the us would wipe out Lebanon from the face of the earth if that happened. in order to save precious Israeli lives from possible attacks from Hezbollah, its perfectly fine for hundreds of innocent Lebanese civilians to be massacred.

Why is the US blindly supporting a belligerent, aggressive and murderous nation like Israel? I wonder myself. I am not an Arab or a Jew and I see this issue impartially. I just wonder how Israel can justify itself killing civilians and bombing the peaceful country of Lebanon. Why not just go after the Hezbollah guerillas in the South of Lebanon? The Christian and Jewish Lebanese have nothing to do with Hezbollah at all.

The Israelii government is doing what it has to do. The entire region would like to see nothing more than Israel to die a slow painful death.
With that said, there's more to the situation than meets the eye. Israel wouldn't go to such measures unless it had to. Do you really think Syria and Iran is innocent? What would you do if you knew 3 of your neighbors was planning your demise? I'm sure people will come in here all day with their anti-war essays and peace speeches, but sometimes drastic measures must be taken to reach such a level.
As long as a human being breathes air, there will be no such thing as world peace.
Also, I am going to agree with the "United Nations is full of crap". What have they handled recently? Annan is winning Peace Prizes for what? "No, let's not fight. Let's have some pie." Like I said, as long as a human being breathes aire there will be no such thing as world peace and Koffi Annan needs to deal with the problem at hand instead of his blame Israel rhetoric.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. And as strongly as you feel about it none of us will be able to change your mind. You appear to only be looking for answers that agree with your point of view. I disagree!!! Israel has tried to appease the terrorists by pulling out of Lebanon in 2000 and then they pulled out of Gaza and the West Bank. Still Hezbollah has sent homicide bombers into Israel on a regular basis, killing innocent men, women and children. Do you watch the news? Read the newspapers? Are you outraged when innocent Jews are killed? I feel badly for the innocents on both sides of this war, both the Israelis and the Lebanese. The abduction of the soldiers was the straw that broke the camels back for Israel. Is it Israel's fault the Hezbollah chose to place their rocket and missile launchers in residential neighborhoods in southern Lebanon? NO! Israel has the right to defend itself. The only way for them to be safe is to root out the terrorists once and for all.

What is the difference between terrorists individuals and a terrorist nation? , I guess Israel attack on Lebanon showed that it is as terrorist as any organizations that it condemns !committing war crimes against civilians of Lebanon and invading a sovereign country like Lebanon by air, sea and land and blockading their means of survival and pushing 700 000 civilians from their houses for the mere joy of showing her military capacity to the whole world does indeed show that Israel is a terrorist nation as the hezbollah or hamas organizations .
Iam starting to wonder if it is true that Israel is controlling secretly these organizations to find pretexts for wars!

I support you. Most who feel the same way do not have the guts to post your question.
A lot of the others go along blindly with the media and government distortions.
Israel is just as evil or even more so than Hitler was towards them.
They intend to kill every single non-Jew in that area and unless the world does something THEY WILL. Genocide is what they have been practicing for a while now and, yes, America approves it.

by the way, it is very normal that U.S. Government supports israel. It has already commited WAR CRIMES in Afghanistan, it is still commiting Crimes VS Humanity against Iraq. Not to forget the Nuclear Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as the carpet bombing of Dresden...
