I just moved to New York and am living in Chelsea on the west side. Does anyone have excellent experiences with a general practitioner/internal medicine/family practice doctor as their primary care physician? The closer to home, the better, but I'm willing to travel for good health care.

hey, imma 19y/o from cleveland OH. i gotta 1bdrm, pretty large apartment, n i pay $385/mo...it aint in da greatest condition: the maintenance is kinda kept low, rats, roaches, always loud, lotta complainers...but im used to it, i been here since november. i gotta kno how much a 1bdrm is in nyc, n where can i get one (includin NJ) for between wut i pay now(or da cheapest)...but not more than like $8-900/mo. i had a job at da library for 2 1/2yrs, but got fired last week cuz my boss got sick of seein me all da time (she used a clutch, poor work performance) cleveland is NOT friendly! n most of da city is poor, n we dnt get treated well, at all! plus, im prolly da only east Indian mix in my whole neighborhood! i prefer an apt in a large Indian community. also, whats da job outlook in nyc? how much would a "page" position at the library there pay approx? wuts the minimum wage rate in nyc? i think they just changed it here to $7.25. i was paid $9.05/hr, so its gotta be more in nyc!

Should I go to PACE UNIVERSITY in NEW YORK? PLEASE ANSWER! I need to decide real soon!?
I am going for business. If I go I will get opportunities to intern in places such the Waldorf Astoria, the Crowne Plaza, Trump International.. I am going for Hospitality Major (which is business) My ideal goal is to be a hotel administrator at a prestigious hotel.
I got accepted and they have given me 7,000 dollars scholarship for each year. Plus Fafsa..
Does anyone know how this school ranks?

I am currently in the Bronx, but am looking for a place to rent/lease for a year in Manhattan, starting Sept/Oct 2007, preferably either in
1. the upper west side or
2. morningside park area,
3. riverside drive. Is it possible to get a 1bedroom apt around 1200-1400 on the west side? (preferably not harlem and not inwood please!)... i would want to stay away from brokers if possible, but what are some good ways to start my search? websites? newspaper ads? i have been looking on craigslist but found nothing there available from W60th to 100th streets! any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!
