i have had the same neighbors for the last 5 years and everytime we have a yard sale they call code enforcement on us because u are only allowed to have yard sales 2 times a year.however my husband has a business license for our address but code enforcement says that u can't have a business where u live. its not zoned for business. so what am i supposed to do, for the time being this is our only income, how can i make them stop? or what can i do to fight code enforcement?

My fiance is looking to sell most of her 250+ beanie babies before we get married because of the space involved. I know several of them are high value ones, but on ebay, everything seems to go for only a few bucks and a garage sale they'd go for pennies on the dollar. Is there a place where she can sell them at a reasonable price? I wouldn't expect miracles, but she should be able to get a little higher then two bucks each for mint condition bbs.

There has been a crime wave at the Apt. complex where I live. There has been at least 2 cars stolen at gun point, and child has been abducktted and a man that goses in to home naked has been reported. My girlfiend is pregnant and she has a two yearold as well. Whem my kids go on the weekends its a full house, so I find my self in a full house. Making us a target for something to happen. There has not been any extra mesures taken to better the securty in the complex, and there has been no news crews out there as well. So what can i due to get out there as soon as I can?

I just moved away from home and my roomates and I don't know my neighbors well but the Fed Ex man came to deliver them a TV and with UPS I know they leave it on the porch, but the box it was shipped in had a picture of the TV on it. We didn't want it to get stolen, so my roomate signed the form and we recieved the TV and the driver left a note on their front door that we had it. He said that if they didn't pick it up in 31 days the TV was ours. It has been over a month now. I tried to do some online research but can't find the policy and I called and the lady I talked to said there was no claim on it, but acted like I had done something wrong. I didn't tell her what the driver said because if it was wrong i didnt want to get him in trouble. Does anyone know what is right?

a package comes back u say we have to watch that when we're in a hurry, he says what makes you think you didn't do it? We'll do inventory at noon and leave at 3:30 next day he says you didn't tell me, you're trying to screw us out of hours. Come in at 7am, still comes in at 6am and says he's working for another supervisor which he isn't. He says you didn't give him the product labels, u did so you redo and he finds them days later but u don't say anything and he starts let's go to personnel, you're a raceist on and on and you don't say anything cause everyone like him and would probably believe what he has to say instead of u the supervisor. This all started when he filled in last yr. at a supervisor meeting cause they needed to filled chairs, now he thinks I can't give the other guys anything but him and only he does inventory instead of both guys working together.

We finally decided to replace our old sofa/love seat--ours is at least 10 years old and has seen us through the birth of grandchildren and served us well. In searching for a new set, we were surprised at what was available (as well as the cost) and decided we would reupholster what we have. We ran across some fabric at LaZ-Boy that we really liked but to purchase it would cost $50 a yard--a hefty price considering we need 40 yards. Does anyone know where we could purchase LaZ-Boy fabric directly from the mill? We know the name of the fabric and have the number that we got when we were at LaZ-Boy but don't know how to find out which company makes it. Any ideas on how to begin a search such as this will be greatly appreciated.

Need to obtain a lawyer for family violence/assault charge against me. Affidavit of non-prosecution is filed from victim. There was no assault. I need to have a lawyer by Monday 10/16/06.
