I am thinking about becoming a real estate agent and was wondering what the good and bad points are from people who actually do this job. Is it a good career to have? why or why not?

I am signed up with all the local agencies, check craigslist.com every day, set up on Monster, Hot Jobs, Indeed.com and several others. I have lowered my starting wage, and am getting desperate as my unemployment ran out last week. I have been searching for 6 mo now and no luck, seems that all any company wants is a 20-something with big u know what's. It seems like experience, dependability, and someone eager to work doesn't count for much now days.
I don't mean to sound sour or bitter, but it's getting rather depressing to go in for an interview and when u get contacted back or u call back, the jobs always been filled.
Any one with any kind of suggestions, ideas or solutions, PLEASE respond, I'm getting desperate.

I'm suspended now but will prob. be fired. Almost everyone at the nursing home either went to school together or are related. One of my accusers went to high school with the DON and the other is best friends with the first accusers daughter. I live in another town and feel persecuted at this place. Also I've been accused of "scaring" others. I'm the night supervisor and the only ones I could possible scare are the ones not doing their jobs right in the first place. My administrator told me that he may let me go because he doesn't know me as well as he knows my accusers. Gee maybe because I'm not inbred! But other than the statements made by those 2 women, there is not proof (maybe because I didn't do it). If I am fired do I have enough to file a wrongful termination suit and if I do, what are the chances the company will settle before it gets to court? I'm an RN so my reputation is everything.

Where I work at they deside to start work on holiday and take a day & half off doing the same week of the holiday. then you have to work on Saturday for 4 hours and then take 4 hours off doing the same week you going to work on Saturday.
