No company will hire a child that age, in fact in my state it is illegal, and I'd imagine Texas is similar. Your best bet is going to be working for an individual doing odd jobs like yard work, possibly babysitting, light house cleaning, and things like that. If this is work for you or for a child you know, make sure the parents are involved and know who the employer is, especially if it involves working in the person's house.

If your responsible you can put sign up that you can help mothers with there children, you are not quite old enough to babysit but a busy mother can always appreciate and use help to keep an eye on the kids while she is home. Yard work, a newspaper route, if you can impress your working desires on a business person you can help in the office with simple tasks like folding letters for mailings, labellings, stamping. Your desire to work can get you work. Good for you! You will be very successful in life.

maybe delivering news papers but that is about it. 10 is a little young to be working and besides there are child labor laws that will prohibit a 10 year old from getting a job.
I would try the local newspaper and see about delivering newspapers.

Paper delivery, mowing lawns, doing household chores for family or yard work for older people in the neighborhood. You can t legally get a job any place else unless the place is owned by your family.

No where, it breaks child labor laws.
Try mowing lawns, or babysitting. Gardening, or helping a little extra around the house. Ask your neighbors about pet sitting, or dog walking, or if they want they plants water while they are out of town.
Best Of Luck!

Try starting a pet sitting business. You can make a flyer and pass it out to your neighbors and tell them you will feed and walk their dogs for them.
