I am a 30 year old woman who has struggled with facial and body hair since puberty. In a desperate attempt to control it, I shaved my upper lip and under my chin while in high school. To keep up with it, I have to shave every morning and by evening you can totally tell that there is something "not right". I have PCOS and started metformin yesterday... any ideas on how quickly the metformin might slow the hair growth? Any ideas on how to remove the hair without shaving or spending thousands on lazer. My husband has never been bothered by it... but we are in the process of seperating and I'm guessing most men won't be intrigued by the shaving lines.

how can i make my periods not last so long. they last like 9 days. and id like it to last ALOT shorter than that. does anyone know anything that will help. without medication or drugs of any sort?

I didn't seem to get my period at all this month.....And I've been on the pill for almost 1 year now ever since I had my daughter last September.....And I never missed one of them....There's no way I could be pregant, because I got one in the beinging of July and I left to go to my sister's in Florida with my daughter.....My husband had to stay here to work....I was gone for 3 weeks and came back on the 1st of Aug....I'm really concerned about this can someone please help me....Thanks

hey, im 13, i feel wet when i come out of the bathroom even though i wipe good. i havent gotten my period yet..i had REALY bad cramps today...but was it just gas? my underwear seems to smel bad at tthe end of each day. any other girls my age (or older ones with experience) had this problem? plese tell me everything you know. and if i am expecting to get my period...how long do you think? this started about 1 week ago. and one more question..what are some ways you can get your period? like my friend got it when she went to the bathroom and she just wiped and there it was...so please answer..thanks!

i just found today that i have fibroid tumors in my uterus and i have an enlarged uterus because of them . the doctor said that my uterus is the size of a 12 week preg. and that i need a hysterectomy ! are there any women out there who has had this done ? im just trying to get info and see other womens advice ! i am a 30 y/o woman and im sorta scared too . ! i know its not life threatinging but just the thought of my whole reproductive being removed is a lil scary !

I've had my period for about almost 2 years and it's been regular for the past 1 and 1/2. It was supposed to come yesterday and it didn't, no sign today either.... No, I didn't have sex! But my cousin is getting married this weekend and I was really hoping that it wouldn't come then and I just want to know if it's going to come or not... I think it might be late because my last cycle lasted for an extra 2 days, could that be why it is/may be 2 days late? Would it still last the same amount of time though, because it came late? But I also went back to school and that's added quite a bit of stress and I only get 6-7 hours of sleep a night vs. the 10 I was used to. Basically, what are the chances of my getting it this weekend?

I usually have a 5 day period. The flow being heavy on the first two days and then lighter on the third and fourth and ALMOST non existent on the fifth day. But this time I had a normal heavy flow on the first day but very light on the second and it's almost non existent today. What can be the reason?? is it normal?

For instance, I am also on different medications including birthcontrol pills. But, the labels also say that there is a chance of decrease of effectiveness for the birth control to use other methods. Well, the only other "method" we used is the withdraw method. Now, I have taken notice to my hair being a little oily and my face and body is oiler than usual. Is there any relation? Or just the medication? I even stopped on the conditioner for a little bit thinking that, that might be it. I've change shampoos, body washes. I don't know what to do next. My meds give me the norm symptoms of the fatigues and tiredness. I have been getting my periods but lately it has been a day or two late and light spotting here or there. Any suggestions?
