Not necessarily. For both of my pregnancies, I knew something was "off" when I felt like I was going to get my period--with all the symptoms of PMS, bloating, sore breasts, and all that--and after a week or two the symptoms went away but I never actually got my period. Cramping could be just that--cramping. I get that on occassion, particularly if I get really bloated (happens when I haven't been drinking enough water). The only thing you can do at this point though, hon, is wait. Most tests won't show up until you're two weeks late. Trust me, if you're period's regular, you'll just know. I'd had an irregular period for years before I got pregnant the first time, but I knew the moment I was three days late that something was off.

it could be a sign of early miscarriage women will miscarry around the time they are suppose to start thier period and it comes on like a period if its less than a month. you need to go to your dr right away to see if you need a D&C to scrap your uterus if you were pregnant the dr will be able to tell with an exam
