My brothers, sister and I want to buy access to this for my 80 y/o Mom's birthday. She loves video games and plays her ancient Nintendo constantly, but it is about to give up the ghost. Before we try to upgrade her Nintendo, we wanted to explore this option. Does anyone have any experience with this premium service? What is needed, who carries it, how do we access it, what kind of accessories, i.e, joy stick, etc., is needed.

I just got to the island with the battle zone on it yesterday, and I havent actually gone into the battlezone yet.

But I noticed when I arrived the lady said at the battlezone you can battle over the internet.
Is it the same way you would set up a battle in the union room? Or can you just go in the Battlezone, connect to nintendo wfc, then find people who want to battle without having to get pesky friend codes?

This is prolly not true, but I would love to just be able to log on find someone to battle and just do it. Instead of going through fc's.

Help me if you can. thanks!

Because I read an article in this month's EGM that the creator of FINAL FANTASY is unhappy with Squaresoft, and doesn't like the PS3.

But the game release dates tell me that FFXIII is already OUT.

I can't seem to find it on the store shelves.

Anyone want to clue me in on what's going on?
