Whats the best Free MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game)?

It has to have lots of thing to do, quests, races, mounts, ... like WoW(World of Warcraft) for an example.

The best one I've found so far (and it's FREE) is www.rubiesofeventide.com.

It doesn't have mounts.. that's the only thing it's lacking from the list you gave.. but it also has a lot more to it.

And I didn't PASTE this from a website like a few of the people above me did (cough, cough.. 'top contributor', cough cough).

It has about 140 character classes, 8 races, the ability to get into crafting and do quests, or just explore.

It's an older game, but what it lacks in flash and pizzaz, it makes up for in content and foundation.

Try it out.. it's free.. so what is there to lose?

Well, as an alternative, you could play on a WoW private server. Those are servers that are ran by normal people. They are pretty different from the normal Blizzard server but totally free. The only thing you got to have is the game and the minimum intelligence required to replace a line in a file.

To find some, it's simple. Search for: "world of warcraft private server" (without quotes) on Google.

i would say that guild wars is a good game and it is free to play so i would go with that i really liked it and it does have some good pvp to it so if you are looking for a good free mmorpg like WOW i would say guild wars is the next best thing for free online

Quite fun if you know the right people when you join so they can help you level, it's not as slow as Runescape at all, but the graphics are quite better, drawn landscapes and tons of PKing, that's very fun since you can kill others in alot of people.

Well, in my experience I've been playing "Runescape" which is a great game ...I'm level 92 already and just don't fall for scammers tricks and it will be fun.
