just need on outside opinion on which one is better, a 360 or a Wii.

The Xbox 360 costs more than the Wii so that's a plus if you don't have much money so you can buy games and stuff. but if you have the money for both It really depends on what type of games you play. If your into sports then I would go with a wii. I have an xbox 360 and I love it, I play shooter games a lot more though so it's also up to you. Another thing to consider is how much space do you have. The wii would take more space between the T.V. and the wall. Also if your looking for a way to get more active while playing video games but you also like shooters I'd go with the Xbox 360 and buy DDR. This way you can still play Halo and be active on another game. Also if your looking for name brand games like call of duty or NBA live or Tony Hawks porject 8, go with the Xbox 360 the Nintendo Wii doens't offer these games is as good of quality as the Xbox 360 does. It really depends on your style. Personally Xbox 360 is a lot better but it's up to you, hope I helped.

I consider the XBOX 360 is greater for snap shots and plenty extra video games. The Wii perhaps greater for purchasing off the sofa, however the video games turns out a bit cheesier (no less than for now). MAYBE to your birthday or subsequent Christmas, ask for the Wii (with a bit of luck the Wii could have greater recreation offerings by means of then). My husband is of the same opinion with my reply!

If your a hardcore gamer then get the Xbox 360. If your not then the Wii will do just fine. I recamend the Xbox 360, better games, better graphics, and HALO 3!!! :)

1st. Banjaxed the PS3 isn't a choice
2nd. The Wii is a very unique gaming style it all depends on what you like
3rd. The Xbox360 is my pick because of the Live Play, Halo, The graphics are great, and the DVD Player and Music Player are installed in it, its not in the Wii

I think it depends on the games. I have a Xbox 360 and like it, but I don't see any Wii game that makes me want to buy one. But that doens't mean it's a bad platform or anything.

DEFINITELY the Xbox 360, Wii is basically made for kids (small kids) and the 360 just has better games .... period (.)

The online content,friends lists,chat,messenger,marketplace makes the Xbox360 a better console in my opinion. As for the Wii it is not a console for a serious gamer. Its a fun toy though.

if your looking to have a good time with some friends,
then get the wii.
but if your a gamer who's into graphics, detail, incredible games only for the 360 then go with that.
the 360 is a better console hands down, but it all depends on what you want it for.
plus it has more media options: you can watch movies and play music. comes in handy.
