i have had both and i sold my xbox cuz i liked ps3 better, graphics wise ps3 is better, you cant beat the blue ray player it comes with (unlike xbox u have to buy external hd dvd) and online play for ps3 is free, xbox you must pay, there arent many good games out for ps3 yet but that changes in time. id go with the ps3, there are no longer any heating problems for xbox, ps3 never had any, yea the xbox elite is a great price but its really more of what you look for in a system, people without hd tvs dont know that ps3 graphics exceed xbox, let alone once game developers learn more how to create for the ps3 the graphics will get even better so theres a lot of potential there, most people care about the "price" of a system but a blue ray player by itself is 800-900 dollars and ur getting that with a great gaming system in the ps3 for 600 bucks, thats y ps3 is so much higher than xbox, once you buy an hd dvd player the the xbox uve just spent as much as you did on a ps3

Playstation3 is 200 dollars more than the 360 and has the same graphics as it. Get the 360. PS3 blows!

well my opinon is xbox360... reason: the games coming out for it... there are 4 absolutly AWESOME games that are due to be released in the next year.
1. Halo 3, 2. Mass Effect, 3. Star Wars: Unleash the Force, and 4. Madden 08...........those 4 games will keep me busy for about 2 years... enough said

I hear both have bugs and heat problems. If you don't have one already, I'd get a PS2; they are now very cheap and have a huge number of great games available. It should be a viable system for a while longer; perhaps by then Sony and MS will have worked the kinks out of the PS3 & 360, and maybe the prices will have dropped as well.

Price, performance, visual quality, game selection and online support. I think the XBOX 360 wins in every category.

i bought an x box 360 and a ps3 2 months ago...
i played with th x box for 1 day
and
i played with the ps3 also for 1 day...
and i found out that ps3 is better...
and has better games than th x box...
even though ps3 is much more expensive...
it is really worth it...

i like the 360 more its cheaper better graphics better gameplay the only downside is its new games are all at least $50 but its worth it & besides im just an xbox guy & i hate playstations

PS3 is alot more and the xbox elite offers twice the amount of HD space then the best PS3. go for xbox!
