Video & Online Games - March 2007

I've always loved playing video games...from when I was a young kid playing my NES and Genesis, to my college days of PC gaming and now XBox 360. The thing is, I really just don't have much time to play games anymore. Once in a while I'll play some sports games when friends are over, or play a new single player game when I have some time off, but otherwise, I try to stay away from games to focus on my studies.

Something I've always thought of, though, was about playing games when I'm older and retired. I look at my elder relatives, they seem so bored all the time and take up hobbies like watching Soap Operas and Wheel of Fortune and gardening and stuff. And I've always thought to myself, what am I going to do when I'm old and retired? I know - I'll spend some of my retirement money on the latest video game system and play games whenever I'm bored!

Is this realistic? Or will my interests change when I'm that old? We grew up in a completely different generation of entertainment.

People tell me its a waste of time to play video games.But I always say a good time is never a waste of time.Isn't that right?Or should I do something more constructive to replace video games?But fact is,I have a lot more hobbies than gaming.So I don't know.

Okay, so I found out about Marikaku (a video game based on an anime called Maria Watches Over Us (or Marimite); here's the link http://sygnas.tv/doujin/marikaku/) And I downloaded it. (Below at the page with the KB, just below the pictures) I tried to install it, but it wouldn't let me. This popped up (I'll show a picture cause I can't describe it well http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/444/untitledaw6.png). T_T Someone help me. I really want to play this game!!!!!! Do I need to install a language translator or something?!

What are some good MMORPG's (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games)?

I currently play RuneScape but I do not know other good games. Especially free ones and browser based games.

I heard that Silkroad Online is quite nice and free but what other good games are out there?

Trying to look for games that doesn't have more than $5 monthly fees. World of WarCraft costs too much....

im not a noob, i have gotten a lot of characters to their 80's. now i want to start a character for pvm and for ubering too. would the best character ( lets say i can get godly gear for any of them) be a druid, sorceress (frozen orb and after thats maxed something else like lighting) or a bow zon? please do not say any kind of paladin because i made them already and i dont really like them except for hammerinds kinda. thanks a lot for the help and maybe if u want you could leave me your account name so that i can whisper you. im US east non ladder

I love playing the Sims 2. I installed it on my Vista laptop. It was running better than before. Everything was amazing; the sound sims, weather. The just yesterday I went into Create a Family clicked on Create a Sim and....My game crashes. I checked for hacks. None. Glitches. None. Viruses....Nada. What is wrong? I has never done that. It's not the system. My computer passes the normal standards and Vista is the best operating system for it. I have checked. I have done a system restore but that didn't help it only made it worst. Also Vista is supposed to check for a solution to the problem but it hasn't for this. It does for everything else, but why not this. My computer has done many updates could it be that my computer did one while I was playing and I happened to "overwrite" one of the files? I really don't want to have to reinstall all of my games ( I've got all of them including the stuff packs). It took me over 8 hours last time . I don't want to do it again. Please Help ME!!!!!
