How come there's no continue in the main menu of my pokemon emerald ROM?

I've defeated the elite group and after it reset...the continue in not there. Is there a pokemon emerald ROm where the battery does not run dry or that works?

unfortunantly there is no rom without the battery error as the rom tries to search for a battery in the cartridge but as it is not in a cartridge it cant find one (this is a feature nintendo added to help reduce the usage of roms) but there is a way arround it. Download the latest version of VisualBoy Advance emulator and instead using the save feature within the game go to file and select save state, this takes a snapshot of where you are in the game and saves it. Then next time you go to play pokemon emerald (or any other game) you just open up the game and go file load state and load the file you saved earlier and presto you can continue where you left off
