Video & Online Games - November 2006

That's it... I don't want any major work, just want to change a low level bed (3) to a higher level (8-10). Is it easy to do? I can't seem to find any information about it.

I figure you all are gamers in this section so I need a little help if you don't mind. My husband loves playing games when he gets the chance. We have an XBOX 360 now and are not planning to get any game systems for a while.

My mother has asked me to provide a list of gifts he might like. I normally get him games and other things he might want but since this is for my mother I would like it to be low-budget. Preferably under $20 per gift. I just don't know what he would like! Gift certificates are great she likes giving gifts that you unwrap. Any suggestions?

I was recently playing Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for the Playstation 2 and was on a challenge called The Machine Gun. I can get all the way to level 9 and passed it but nothing happens... no wrap up or next level, my character just stands there in the middle of a town and keeps standing there etc. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?!?!?!?!

Going from a keyboard and mouse to a console controller is awful. I'll admit that the Wii has potential with its controller though. In my opinion, FPS games were meant for the PC, just like realtime strategy games (Warcraft, C&C).

Why does yahoo games not load on my computer anymore? I have played them for ages and all of a sudden they won't load. It will let me select the game but that is as far as it will go. Help!!!!!

Let's say it's going to be a tank game, one mouse controls the turret while the other controls the lower section. Izzat an awesome idea? No need for a keyboard. And to communicate online, you can use a microphone which sits between the two mice. Why hasn't anyone thought of this? The mice could be included with the game, and the mice themselves could be 8 or ten dollars each.

I bought the Wii last Sunday, and in all the pictures I've seen of the Wii, the disc drive lights up blue, but mine only blinks once when you turn it on, and then turns off right away. I'm wondering if mine's broken, or if that's normal.
