Ok probably next week im getting The Sims 2. I was wondering, when you are building a house, can you make a garage? If you can't, do you think you can build a garage for your car in The Sims 3?

You can make a garage or a carport in Sims 2 as long as you have the expansion pack that has cars in it... I believe it was Nightlife. In order to own a car, you have to place a driveway on your lot, then you just build around that. they do have special garage doors too. It's actually really cool!

You can only build a garage in the sims 2 if you get the Nightlife expansion pack. When you buy the game, go ahead and get nightlife and university. They are both great and well-bought add-ons for the unlimited posibbilities in the Sims 2. :)

First you need the The sims 2 nightlife.In this sims you can buy cars and a garage.

1.buy the first part of the garage, the part that goes to the street! 2. buy the drive way extention, pay attenttion to where the first part and second part attaches! 3. use the wall tool! make a "room" but make sure when you're making the room that. The wall tool extends across the driveway to complete the room. 4 then click on the garage door. place it in the front of the room, of course. and VOILA! garage accomplished, good luck!

yes you can. it's not going to look all fancy and all but it's possible. and you can have cars with or without the EP, but you just can't drive the car, but it looks nice for decoration. = )
