Video & Online Games - August 2006

Please help me. When I go to load my game (Oblivion) it starts to load the game and then the screen will go all black but I can still hear the game's music? I can play dvd's though and it isn't the game because I tried it on my Aunt's and it played fine. Any help will be appreciated.

I am using a Sony Vaio Media Center PC and I just installed Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 onto it. It seems as though almost every full-screen gameI play gets cut-off the screen. The top and left of the screen are missing and there is "empty" black space on the right and bottom, almost as if someone "pushed the picture" on the screen up and to the left.

I'm thinking about buying a PSP. However since the PSP is so old I'm worried about Sony coming out with a new portable system. I know that their coming out with the PS3 but I couldn't care less (I want a portable system). So my questions is: Is sony going to come out with a new portable system, and when? Also is it a good idea to buy it from eBay?
