Nintendogs, it's the best-looking and most fun out of the three.

I loved Mario 64 the original and the one for DS is basically the same, you get to use different characters though besides just Mario. Nintendog is uber cute but I don't know how long you can remain amused by that. I have a feeling that one can fall into the catagory with the Tamagotchi or the Furbys. Teehee. I'm not big on Tony Hawk so I have no opinion on that.

But those three are so different it's hard to give ya a good answer. I would go with Mario though just because it's such a fun game!

I haven't played Tony Hawk so that might be a good choice but that game sometimes gets old a little quickly. Nintendogs is REALLY boring, trust me, I bought that game the day it came out thinking it would be the best and it gets boring quicker than Animal Crossing. Super Mario 64 DS is a good choice though because it's an updated version of the great game Super Mario 64. The New Super Mario Bros. is also another great game you should consider because it is like the classic Super Mario Bros for Super Nintendo but updated and unfortunately, without Yoshi.

In all honesty, avoid Nintendogs. I got a free version when I purchased my DS and while I gave it a shot and proudly showed it to both family and friends, it was only because of the way it appeared and as well as it displayed some of the finer points of the DS (ie: training your dog using voice recognition, as well as simply using the stylus). After about 30 mins of playing, I can honestly say I have yet to put it back in my DS. As for Tony Hawk, it is a sub-standard game. It will provide you with a couple of hrs of gameplay, but after that, it burns itself out. I would go with Super Mario 64 DS - what once was the standard for games is now the standard for portable games. Someone previously mentioned "The New Super Mario Bros" and I must say that game is pretty terrific as well - it is a throwback to the old side-scrollers that we older gamers grew up on. It plays well and if you have a couple of friends who own the DS as well, it also contains downloadable mini-games which you can challenge friends at. So to review... I would say 3.) Super Mario 64 DS of the choices you have showed... but really, just go w/ The New Super Mario Bros, the game itself has enough secrets and simplicity to keep you enjoying it for 5 mins at a time or 2 hrs at a time, as well you can talk trash to your friends while playing mini-games, and only one of you needs to own the game in order to have fun.
