Should I buy a PSP?

Question

I'm thinking about buying a PSP. I saw some new ones for around 130$ on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-PSP-1001-98507-Portable-Playstation-New-in-Box_W0QQitemZ290015349418QQihZ019QQcategoryZ62054QQtcZphotoQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). However since the PSP is so old I'm worried about Sony coming out with a new portable system. I know that their coming out with the PS3 but I couldn't care less (I want a portable system). So my questions is: Is sony going to come out with a new portable system, and when? Also is it a good idea to buy it from eBay?

Its not really a old system, and if you dont already own a PS2 go get a PSP. Because thats what the PSP is a PS2 on a handheld. I doubt Sony will make another handheld by this year or maybe even next year they want to make sure there PS3 does great on the market. PSP is more than just a video game machine and thats whats great about it.

Yes. If you have the money, buy a PSP. I have been trying to save up some money to buy the PSP because I really like it but every time I save up, a new game is released for Xbox 360 and i enjoy Xbox 360 game so I have no option but to buy it. I can see that you have the chance to buy it but your hesistant so I will just clear those questions that make you so hesistant that you don't want to buy the PSP. First of all the PSP is not old. It was just released March 2005 and you're calling it old already. Second of all, Sony is not coming out with a new portable system in the near future. Even if they were, I haven't heard of it and I don't think that Sony employees have even heard of it. Remember that they still have the PS3 in their hands and are still worrying about how to put it in the market and stuff like that. If Sony were going to come out with a new portable system, you would have heard about it a long time. For example, look at the PS3. Microsoft was very close to releasing the Xbox 360 but Sony was far from releasing the PS3 but yet they still anounced it. You get my point right. Now your last question, I don't think it is a good idea to buy it from eBay.

The psp is the best portable gaming console out on the market at the moment so if you want it go for it. There are a number of things that the psp offers. Aswell as being a gaming console you can play special movies for it, Play videos on it, Play music on it, Watch pictures, Browse the internet. There are more features coming soon such as a radio built in. I have a psp which i bought off ebay which was £110 with two games and it is perfect so yes i would say why not buy it off ebay? same quality as the shops just cheaper.

I'm not exactly familiar with the psp, but since my older brother has one, and tells me everything about it, I think that you should get one. I'm pretty sure that sony won't come out with a portable device anytime soon, so I say that it is safe to get a psp. As for e-bay, I wouldn't trust e-bay because you never know when they could have bought it, and if it was 2 years ago, the warranty would've expired, so yo wouldn't get to return it to the manufacturer.

Sony is not gunna release a new portable system yet cause it is backwards compatable with the ps3. Also it can be used as a controller for PS3.

yeah, great price, on Target it cost you $200, PSP is the best handheld game console ever, game boy and Nintendo DS are for kids, don't worry PSP is new, and though PS3 haven't on sale yet so they don't have time to make a new portable game console, you should BUY IT NOW.

save the 3DS reason extraordinary video games are coming at E3. specific it is particularly nicely worth it. For $a hundred thirty greenbacks for a psp 3k and a memory card for like $30 extra, your getting a ton of bang on your dollar, get one till you could now not discover them anymore, and a few spare batteries to maintain you place for some years, I definitely have a psp bypass nevertheless in the container for years to come if something happens to my psp 3k. those human beings are prolly youthful and dumb and don't understand what they're speaking approximately, iOS video games are cool, yet i'm what's referred to as a "gamer" so in basic terms finished fledged titles for me please, and you too!

they should because the made a portable version of the ps2 so they should make a portable ps3 but i dout it so sure get one

you should buy it.get it used or refurbished for like 200 dollars.

its a good deall (has music, videos, and games)

and i think your best choice for a memory card would be a 512 mb its around 80 dollars but you can fit a crapload of music on it
