My kid was drawing his own pokemon cards in preschool, so my wife decided to go out and buy a set. I never played Pokemon (or any card game without the ace of spades) before this.

He gets the rules, but he doesn't get strategy - we play with our hands 'face up', because he won't hide them, and he's a little weak on planning ahead.

My question is, with only a cheap trainer set, is there any way to 'rig' the game so he has a BIG advantage and might actually win? By giving good cards to the kid, and bad cards to the grownup?

Also, what is the cheapest way to get a reasonable set of cards. I found out our trainer decks only have 30 cards, and I'm supposed to have 60. I'm not looking for rare cards or to collect, just to play a basic game with my kid.

Ahhh nothing like those fun and dangerous toys of yesteryear! For example: a set of REAL lawn darts! If you're thirty something or older, you might know them as "Jarts." Remember when Tonka toys were made of REAL METAL? You can still find this stuff at online auctions. Name some fun toys from your childhood that banned today because of "safety issues."

but 3 has green and 4 has gold/yellow, just like bowling. My question is is it any way possable to change the color of your gloves when r boxing becasue i tryed the bowling way of canging them so i don't know if there is a way?!

I have a bunch of vintage hexagon pieces that I'd like to out together without paper backing. The problem is that I have a long row of these that were sewn together already. I would like to work off that string of pieces. I am not sure there really is any other way to do it, unless someone has any ideas. Is it possible?

I am in need of a new hobby to fill up my spare time. When I am not at work, I have college work that needs to be done, and when I have done my quota for the day I find it too easy to just sit back and watch TV. I have thought about photography, but I don't have a car so I can't go too far afield every time I want to take pictures and the local area is all that interesting. Does anybody have any ideas?
