Even if a ghost were real and you COULD suck he/she/it up in a vac, wouldn't it just waft straight through and out the other end............

Although they were selling a ghost in a bottle on a certain auction site, I don't think that you'll be able to suck a ghost into a vacuum cleaner, here's why: In my opinion (for what it's worth) Ghosts are just rather like radio waves, many people can tune into their frequency so that's when they might see them. If radio frequencies could be pulled up a vacuum cleaner, or police frequencies, there'd be just a few problems.

Depends on the ghost and their solidity. If they're super solid or really wispy, no. They'd be either too big, or would phase through the bag. If you have a serious ghost problem, I'd recommend an exorcist or a new house.

I'm no expert on ghosts but I would say "no" to your question. I think many ghosts will leave once a person tells them it's okay to go to the other side. I've read about this, & have a friend who was bothered by the ghost of a child, for a year. She told the ghost that it was okay to cross over & that she (my friend) would be okay, & the ghost left & never returned.

If this was in any way shape or form a serious question you would be well aware that ghosts cannot be sucked up hoovers!

Are you trying to p**s them off?

It is possible but you are then the proud owner of a haunted vacuum cleaner.
I don't think your mum would be too pleased about that.

Well if you've already tried asking it to leave and/or having your house blessed, you could try a local search for specialists who deal with paranormal experiences. Ask for a consultation before you pay for anything.

If that's no good call the Maury Povich Show.

Why is this question in the crafts and hobbies section? Is there not a section for the paranormal arts? Perhaps you should direct this question in there to get an answer (or opinion) on the matter.

I really hope you're joking. In the game Luigi's Mansion for Gamecube you do that. In Ghostbusters they used laser beams.
