antique appraisals?

I have a candy dish and 2 leaf shaped dishes that are gold, with real gold dripped all over them. it says 22k gold on the bottom. any one know anything about this gold paint or the dishes?

You need to look at the gold trim candy dishes on e-bay for an idea. You can also try Yahoo Auctions.

The only way to get an accurate appraisal is to take the dish to a professional appraiser.
