Im going to a house party, but i don't know what to drink. Im a pretty inexperienced drinker, so i don't really know the names and stuff. i usually just get the same few drinks because i don't know what to order from the bartender, or i dont know how to make anything else.

What drinks should i make while im there and how. I don't want to be asking people how to do it and make myself look like a jackass.

I'm a guy by the way.

thnaks

I know it depends on the person. I have no alcoholism in my family, I have no known health problems, I don't drink to get drunk, I just love the taste of Mojitos and have on average 2 per week, sometimes 3 or 4, depending on the mood and the company. I don't ever drive nor do I even drink at parties, only at restaurants usually.

I would like to hear from people who know a lot of medical information about the effects of alcohol on the body over time and if this will have serious effects on my health or not. Thanks.

I have wine glasses that hold 6 oz. and glasses that hold 12 oz. Filling the 6oz full and 12 oz half full, I have come to realize that the red wine tastes better out of the 12 oz glasses (same red wind - same bottle even). Can that be true and if, what is the reason?

It makes sense that it would. But I have tried searching the different kind of effects that cheap liquor would have versus expensive liquor and have found none. I also want to know how it effects you differently.

2. What do you love about wine? (Taste, experience, what it does for you, anything that floats your boat!)

Ok first of all, I know that alcohol dehydrates the body. I also know that because of that, it pulls it out of the muscles which can cause the pain. My problem is, when I drink, I instantly (within 60 seconds) have pain in my shoulders. Many people said that can't be right because alcohol doesn't enter the blood stream that quickly. While that may be true, I know my muscles hurting is not just in my mind. It has always done this. It is mainly the muscles in my shoulder.

I DO have problems with my shoulders when I'm not drinking though. I cannot walk for long without my shoulders being in a lot of pain. It feels like they are sagging and i have to prop them onto something to ease the pain.

The alcohol though, causes instant pain no matter if my shoulders are elevated or not.

Can anyone give me any insight? Thanks I really appreciate it.

Yesterday night I was really ill, chucking up and upset stomach. I am trying to work out what made me ill. I had chicken and chips from a chippy at 12pm, went to a bar at 9pm and had a lager shandy. I got home about 10pm and began feeling ill. How long does it take for poisoning to take effect? I suspected it was the chicken and chips, but my wife recons I would have been ill earlier?? any help appeciated.
