i don't like the bitter wines, and i know NOTHING about wine. what's an inexpensive kind that's really sweet, but not like arbor mist or boone's farm (like the "wine flavored" kind).

i've tried yellow tail merlot (YUCK), reisling relax (yum!) and right now i'm trying some cheap kind...twin valley white zinfandel (it's pretty good).

thanks!

Hey, I'm from the mid-west (Michigan) and recently turned 21 and i have to pick up Champagne for tonight for New Years. We are all 21 so it doesnt have to be anything impressive. What is something with a reasonable price and not too dry? Also, i would be interested in an Asti if you could give me a good brand. thanks!

Well, when I finish this bottle of scotch I'm not touching another drop 'till next year.

Here,s a piece of advice: Rolling around in your own dirt is no way to get clean, Simply dust yourself down and resolve to do better in future.
Happy new year

I love to have a good margarita when I'm out at a restaurant, but whenever I make them at home with a margarita mix they seem too sweet and syrupy. What's the secret to a restaurant quality margarita?

In making a drink, a recipe will call for a "splash of cranberry juice" or a "splash" of something else. How much of the ingredient does a splash entail?

I'm still 20 for another couple of days so I can't go to the bar. I'm dating someone who is of legal drinking age. I want to do something fun with him but I don't know what to do. Tonight is the first night in forever both kids are with the babysitter! WE need to get out! But, everyone I know is going to the bar. =( We haven't lived here (kent, wa) very long so we don't know where to go for fun. Any ideas?

Why is it that drinking lager or beer makes you need to go to the loo more than any other drink? Even water don't make me need to go that much!!

Only kidding, I ain't stopping until Tuesday. (Scottish)
The diet for New year is:
Now is whisky and beer, lots off.
Later more of the same.
Breakfast baileys and cornflakes.
Lunch, more beer and whisky.
Then go get drunk at party.
Finish party and drink soem more, maybe have a roll in turkey.

DOES THIS SOUND SENSIBLE TO YOU GUYS?

I made a version of the alcoholic drink 'Apple Pie' but I found that I put too much Everclear in it. It is way too strong, even for the heavy drinkers coming to the party. I'd like to tone it down, but I don't have time to run to the store to get more apple juice/cider. I have water, orange juice, carbonated water, tea, and pink lemonade on hand. I'm sure one or some of those can mix, but not sure which will. Any help?
